Johan Wellton: UNPLUGGED

Johan Wellton, one of Sweden’s most internationally acclaimed circus artists, closes the autumn season at Frihamnstorget with UNPLUGGED – an intimate and personal circus performance where the audience becomes part of the show.

Through virtuosic juggling, physical comedy and improvisation, Johan explores the balance between control and chaos, where a mistake can be just as captivating as perfection. No two performances are alike: each one is shaped by the place, the moment and the people in the audience.

After more than 20 years of touring in over 40 countries, he invites you to an hour of laughter, wonder and the joy of daring to try, fail and try again.

“To captivate an audience for sixty minutes using nothing but clubs, small balls and confetti requires a true master.”
– Lasse Stenman, Haparandabladet
